Ultimative, reaction-poor reference small frequency cable at the border of the feasible one. Most cable capacities means that the small frequency cables themselves can sound. Those are actually due the cables of attributed sounded characteristics to the largest part of reactions of the cables to the attached components. In particular the cable capacitance loads the output stages of the hifi-system and changes so their reinforcement and distortion characteristics. Beyond that badly shielded cables lead to linking of interspersed high frequency into the hifi-system in our breakdowncontaminated environment, where it can come to a shift of the operating points as well as to the demodulation or to the formation of audible mix frequencies. The disturbances resulting from it overlay the music signal... and that can it probably be! With the SUN WIRE Audio Reference is it different. They hear the music and otherwise nothing. But two solid pure silver flat leaders of high cross section ensure (and thus slight resistance). Likewise an air-filled GORE TEX dielectric, from which extremely small capacities (37pF per meter) result and for a small load of the attached output stage vouch. As side effect of this high tech material a fablous signal speed of nearly 90% of the speed of light results. Then the "Worldmaster" shielded, which 4-places everything with its stage technology into the shade. Thickly silvered copper foil screen, intelligent high frequency absorber and the particularly net screen do not leave a chance to high frequency. Shield absorption within the MHz range up to 150dB! That is however not yet everything. In order to exclude also low-frequency disturbers, the Audio Reference with a closely wound Mu-metal-shielded waits for (the best magnetically shielding material at all). Extreme microphone insensitivity, high-quality XLR plugs as well as SUN Audio soldering technique round the whole off.
The bright places on the cable coat are not using traces, but come from the reflections of the scanner light.
