With the help of a time machine a young English scientist travels from
the year 1899 to the eight-hundredth millenium! There it encounters
the peaceful civilization of the Eloi, which are tyrannisiert by the
cruel Kannibalen of the people of the Morlock. Under guidance of the
un frightened time traveler it comes to the rebellion against the
eliminators the novel of the same name of H. G. Wells ranks among the
large classical authors of the Science Fiction literature, and the
on wind produced film version of George Pal (after a film script of
David Duncan) makes all honour for its large collecting main. The
sensational special effects were recompenced 1960 with a OSCAR.
